
Tuna "That Doesn't Taste Like Tuna"

1 can tuna
4-6 tbsp. sweet relish
2 tbsp. mustard
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. pepper
Optional additions:
--1/4 c. chopped celery
--chopped tomatoes, if eaten right away
--chopped onion

Albacore is still tops in my book. It's worth the expense to have the best in your storage. Plus, Albacore is much better on a salad made from greens from your garden.
ReplyDeleteEven straight out of the can with a little black pepper or hot sauce, the taste and quality can't be beat.
It's all a matter of the budget. If you have a house full of kids and trying to make ends meet, while at the same time obediently stocking up on food storage, tuna might be the better choice. If an extended emergency came about, I would rather have more cans of tuna than less cans of albacore.
